Become A Fremason

What's it about?

Freemasonry in its current form started on 24 June 1717 (some 300 plus years) when 4 Lodges came together to form the first Grand Lodge. Today there are over 170,000 members in England and Wales, as well as overseas Districts all around the world. Any member becomes part of this global community sharing the four key values that define their life: Friendship, integrity, Respect and Charity. Our Lodge was consecrated in 1912 (110 years plus) and has a strong history membership. Over the years members have come from all walks of life and each sharing their unique story of life and experiences.

Membership is open to every man over 21 years of age, from any back ground. We believe that Freemasonry encourages everyone to become the best they can be.

So why become a Freemason?

Contribute to Society: Take part in social events. Charity is at the heart of Freemasonry and our members hold fundraising events to make valuable contribution to wide range of deserving causes, whether they are local or at national level.

Make new Friends: Freemasonry offer you the chance to increase your circle of friendship for life. Getting know people who share your common interests can help promote lasting bonds.

Improve yourself: The learnings within Freemasonry can help you become a better person, build character and allow one to develop oneself further by increasing your confidence.
